| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The Psychidae or Bagworms are a family of the Lepidoptera. The larvae of the Psychidae construct cases out of environmental materials such as sand, soil or lichen. These cases are attached to rocks, trees or fences. The larvae of some species eat lichen, while others prefer green leaves. In many species, the adult females lack wings and are therefore difficult to identify accurately.
The family is fairly small, with about 600 species described.

Great capture - beautiful color and perfect sharpness. Awesome!

It really is a nice camouflage. It is incredible how they collect litter and covert it into a fancy coat :)
You had a difficult capture, with light on the wrong side, but managed very well. Subject is well described and composition very nice. I think you had light enough to force F8, that would have controlled highlights a bit, and give you some more DOF. With steady hands, the F-717 works well with low speeeds.
PD: I almost miss the workshop, a nice bonus to see better the larvae. TFS.
Σ΄ αυτήν θα σου επιβραβεύσω τα χρώματα γιατί έχω την εντύπωση ότι δεν είναι 100% νεταρισμένη! Αλλά τα χρώματα είναι καταπληκτικά!
