Nice shot! It looks like Chicory (Cichorium intybus), or a close relative thereof. You've captured the fleeting nature of the flower well. I particularly like the contrast in colour between the blue of the flower and the green background - and you've controlled the DOF nicely too. I think a slightly less cluttered background would enhance the shot though. Also it looks like the flower itself looks marginally overexposed - but that's tricky to check with the C50 since you don't have a histogram view... Perhaps you could take a bracketed shot with a little negative exposure compensation whenever you're shooting a pale subject in strong light? It might be worth experimenting in Photoshop with Shadows/Highlights too. Anyway, it's nicely focussed, and sharp - good work :-)
