One of my favourites too. I have some pictures of them here and lots of others in my archives. They are so easy to photograph because it's really hard to scared them and, as you said, they hardly ever fly away.
The picture is very nice. I like the colours a lot, picture has nice framing too, it could've been a little sharper though.
Anyway, it's a very nice shot.

Thodoris, I love the photo and the moth. However, I don't love the flower! In Missouri it is commonly known as a "thistle" and has been outlawed as a nuisance. It is illegal to allow them to multiply on your property. I dug about 300 of them up a couple of weeks ago. As a teenager my Dad would make us dig "thistles" for punishment!!! FYI and not being critical of the photo itself. TFS, Kim
