Easter Walks

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Easter walks to my beautiful village.
The sun was shinning in the afternoon and the spring calls you to a colored party.
It was my first walk to Lipinitsa for this year and I expect to find some beautiful scenes, insects, birds or flowers to shot.
The nature was dancing all over as but for my bad luck the first butterfly that I saw was this one.
It was a rainy morning and if I am not wrong the wings are hit from the rain.
The poor butterfly was standing on a rock waiting for the destiny.
I’m not good with the names so help me |

Hello Theodoris,
I think you have captured a Boloria dia(male)or Boloria euphrosyne butterfly. Do you also have a picture of the outside wings(with closed wings): then it is easier to identify this butterfly!
Harm
Nice close-up - a little bit to dark. In my opinion it's rather Boloria dia but I'm not sure when you don't have a picture of opposite part of the wings.

Nice shot of this Nymphalidae!
I'm with Christopher and Harm it's some kind of Boloria.
Without seing the outside wings it's very dificult to get a correct ID.
TFS!
Hello Theodoris,
This is a very good shot! I would say very classic POV and framing, but it always works good to show butterfly's wings well. The thing he sits on is very clear and gives a nice BG. It also help to show the damaged wing well.
I just think the picture could've been a little brighter and sharper, but that's a minor nits.
WELL DONE!
