Hi Theo,
You managed the exposure very well. This is excellent closeup of the bug with good details and very nice colors. Focus on bug is very sharp and the metallic green looks very natural. I don't know what happened when you used Neat Image, but there is still much noise. I did workshop (using Neat Image) and it is much cleaner. Your original photo is excellent!
