Egretta garzetta. It lives in marshes, shallow fresh and coastal waters, usually breeding in trees and near water. Here near lake Kerkini's western shore. The lake was formed in 1932, when a dam was built on Strymon river. It is the wildlife-richest habitat in Greece and one of the ten water-reserves protected by Ramsar Treaty.

Hi Theologos,
This time it is a fine capture. I don't know a lot about photographing birds. But I should give one suggestion hope you feel alright. How about adding a little bit of sky in this composition. I think it will work fine. Thanks a lot for sharing.
