I like the composition; it's perfect. You have the fragile white butterfly on a hardy green stalk (grass, weed?) that makes the life of these two contrast. I love the softness of the butterfly compared to the harsh green of which it stands on. The background, a soft murmur of green helps highlight the subject.

Hello Marina,

This is a Large White or Cabbage White butterfly (Pieris brassicae) in a beautiful pose! Your composition is pretty good but it can be improved if cropping from the top so that the butterfly is not in the middle. I have a similar composition here in case you're interested how I worked around this issue.
You are a very courageous photographer to set the ISO to 1600. Of course if you have no tripod handy there is no another chance. It is no problem with small picture sizes as this one but if you want to print it on a larger format the noise will be visible. I like the black frame! Thank you!
