The Painted Lady (Vanessa cardui) is a well-known colourful butterfly, known in North America as the Cosmopolite.
Lantana camara, also known as Spanish Flag, is native to tropical regions in Central and South America. Spanish Flag has been introduced into other parts of the world as an ornamental plant, it is considered an invasive species in many tropical areas.

Photo taken near Filopapou hill, one of the few green oasis in Athens.

La Vanesse du chardon ou vanesse des chardons (Vanessa cardui), aussi appelée Belle-Dame, est un papillon de la famille des nymphalidés.
Le thé de Gambie ou lantanier (Lantana camara) est un arbuste de la famille des Verbenaceae, originaire d’Amérique centrale et du Sud.
