Hi Zeno. Good to see you posting again. This is a fine close up of the Bee Eater. A nice pose with the bird looking around.Good detail and you use of the light has given bright colours. well done TFS.

Nice to see you appear on TN, especially with this fine capture of a European Bee-eater.
Lesbos is a great place to visit for birds, but I was there when I was just starting digital photography, so its great to see this fine capture of the bee-eater at its nesting hole taken from a fine POV with excellent clarity and colours.

Na je prachtige laatste foto van de Groenling, al weer meer dan een jaar geleden, was het wel erg lang wachten op de volgende. Maar zie, een beauty hier. Uitstekende scherpe focus op de kop. Mooie heldere kleuren en een aangename compositie. Bijzonder oogcontact. Hoop nu binnenkort weer veel meer van je te zien.

Great capture of the Bee-eater, with lovely colours and a nice back-ground. I was also on Lesvos on April a I saw many nice birds, but without a good telelens, not easy to capture... I'm happy to see yours! Cheers

I must admit that I'm really thrilled to see this extremely beautiful Bee Eater native to Europe, Zeno.
Our own Indian Bee Eater from north India is comparatively no match for the colours your specimen displays.
You have captured this shot in the most natural surroundings; we normally do not see this bird foraging on the ground.
The picture is technically superb.
