A Bergon's Serapias on the beautiful Island of Lesvos. As the flower is quite 3-dimensional it is a pain to get them in good focus while keeping the background clean. Lying flat on the field was the solution here.
These serapias grow frequently in Olive Orchards, of which there are many in lesvos. |

Hello Jeroen,
excellent shot, natural colors and light, sharp details and nice BG,
regards,
Nikos.
Hi,
Excellent shot with a good mild light and the 3 tongues in focus. I took several shots of Serapias, but I have a problem to see the difference between S.bergonii and S.vomeracera. Do you have any tips?
Cheers,
Catherine
P.S. What is this place "Mytiline"? The main city Mytilene (in English) or Mytilini (transcription of Greek)? Did you found the Serapias there?
Bonjour Jeroen,
Très belle publication avec cette bonne macro permettant d'apprécier la finesse des détails et la délicatesse des couleurs.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
