2 insects in 1 :-) The rich lighting and colors are special here and i would like to mention the composition which is good with directional space and right amount of space. The Bg makes this butterfly stand out.

Always exciting to take pictures of Machaon-butterflies! You caught this one with fine sharpness on a beautiful purple thistle and in front of a pleasant earth-colored background. A typical picture from a Southern country.
