This curious lizard was very interested by my camera (or me?) and let me approach very close with my macro lens. Really friendly and cute fellow. Photo taken on Ikaria island, gorge of Chalari.

Anatololacerta oertzeni oertzeni (WERNER, 1904)
Family: Lacertidae

Thanks to Ilias Strachinis to correct my previous ID!

Hello Catherine,
You chose very good POV and against dark BG lizard look very attractive with the exhibited head.
Regards, Pawel

Geia sou Katerina!
Very nice photo, good pov!
This is not a Podarcis erhardii but an Anatololacerta oertzeni oertzeni. There are no P.erhardii at Ikaria. Why you categorized the photo to Samos than Ikaria?
Tfs
Best regards!

Ciao Catherine, splendid portrait of wonderful lizard, great details and excellent sharpness, very well done, ciao Silvio

Bonjuour Catherine,

Bella capture grand angle semi frontale.

Excellent travail

Jesús

Superb POV on this one. I think you have managed the exposure very well in what seems like extremely bright light. Excellent sharpness as well.
