Cave in Meganisi
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is one of the many by-the-sea caves that Meganisi island at Lefkada has around it.
The biggest is Papanikolis Cave who at the WW II, the greek submarine Papanikolis under the commands of Commander Iatridis was hidden for a long time, waiting for orders and instructions to hit convoys of ships, especially Italians.
Some of that caves are big enough to be host to small boats. A very nice place to be! |
