Superb macro capture of rust-colored grasshopper with well done sharpness and from a great POV! The DOF is perfect with great contrast between the colorful grasshopper and the dried grass. The blurred BG is great.

Hi Laurens.
We have not so cute and attractive species. It is amazing and you have pictured it at so nice POV and scenery. Diagonal composition. DOF and details are superb. It is very interesting it seems to me I see few red parasites on the legs and body of the insect. I have met the same red parasites n ladybirds on my shots. My warm greetings and TFS.

Hi Laurens . This such a unusual colour for this Grasshopper i have never seen one like this before. You were able to take this with fine detail . It stands out from the BG so well .TFS.

Hallo Lou,
Je bent vandaag wel omringd door andere kunstwerkjes. Maar ook deze foto is erg mooi, al vind ik het wel jammer dat er boven in de foto wat ruis zit. De sprinkhaan zelf is schitterend in een heel goede diagonale compositie. Prachtige kleuren en uitstekende scherpe details.
