Mooie actie zo, dit overstapje. Uitstekende timing. Het licht en de kleuren zijn schitterend en de scherpte is fantastisch. Die gele bloem brengt leven in de foto, zowel in kleur als in diepte. Prachtig vage achtergrond. Vanuit een prima standpunt genomen.

Excellent shot! ... I think you handled well the difficult light background. This is a mantis with a very interesting structure. The approach is so good, allowing you to observe the characteristics of insect very precisely. The composition refutes some rules, but the result is good.

A superb macro capture of the mantis with nice details!
I like the sharpness and POV here with great show of natural colors. A great contrast can be seen between the colors of the mantis and the blurry BG.

Oooooh, Laurens, this is wonderful.
I'm so interested in Mantis - but only saw them two times in my life. One in Thailand and one in Italy.
