Climbing up the Roof of Athens
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The mountains surround Athens making a huge stadium. I climbed up such a mountain using hands and from time to time feeling adrenaline. On the top I was met by a military guard. Being surprised to see a civilian who showed up from the steep slope, he asked where I was from (I said, Levkorossija, which means Belarus) and ordered to get out immediately from that prohibited area. |

Well, how rude of him. Why should he get all the nice views and lovely wild flowers? At least you got a nice photo to remember your scramble up to forbidden territory.
I like the composition you chose with the interesting foreground. Just for fun I wanted to see if I could get a little more saturation in the hazy valley and the very light sky so I did a quick workshop. I'll have to post it tomorrow though.
Thanks for sharing

Hi Aleksei,
What a beautiful view, with such great colors in the flowers in the f/g. I like the composition with the diagonal line half way through the photo. The hazy b/g looks like it is from the smog above Athens.
