[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi! This fine young Coprinus picaceus is my today's capture. I found it in the Bükk National Park, closed to Felső-forrás (Upper Source), the closest inhabited place was Lillafüred.
You can find this special mushroom in any decidous forest in October, it isn't rare at all. The reason I call it "special" is it can't be confused with any other fungi, due to its quite unique cap. Not poisonous, but worthless for eating.

Hello Laszlo,
Do all Coprinus species give a kick when mixed with alcohol!? Just asking out of curiosity, not that I want to make any epxeriments :-)
Capture with nice perspective, only the cap is probably a bit overexposed.
Best greetings from Poland!
Michal

Hi Laszlo,
I've just been browsing your photos for the first time, and had no idea you had so many wonderful fungi shots.
This is an excellent capture of a very beautiful Coprinus.
You will no doubt have met our fungi experts
Felipe (extramundi) Christian (TAZ) Clive (fungiman) and Jose Ramon (JORAPAVI)
They have some awesome shots here too.
I have also created my own theme "Fungi Of New Zealand" where I have put 100 of our most interesting fungi.
Check it out Here
Hope you enjoy them.
Cheers
Steve
