[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Dear Trekkers,

1st of April is a special day for me. Not because it's something like an "International Fools' Day", but due to this is my younger son Péter's birthday. Nature wanted to "solve the problem" on the 1st of April, 2005, not before, not later...

My little son loves trees, especially conifers (he's able to recognize at least 5 pine species). His top favorite is Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii var. glauca). So this is something for him on his 4th birthday: cones of the tree specie named above.

Hi Lazlo, so Peter is going to be a tree man when he grows up...
It is good for the children to show interest in nature, and the trees are a great one for him to follow
These are interesting cones, and it is good to see them hanging like this together.

Happy Birthday to Peter! Great gift for your son. I've never seen pine with so fantastic cones. Great details and mix of colours. Blue sky, green needles and brown cones. Very nice workshop too :-)

This is a lovely image that reminds me of Christmas. Details of the whole image are greatly displayed and the colours are bright and pleasing to the eye. This photograph is a pleasure to look at. A basic yet very beautiful piece of work, and a lovely dedication to your son. He must be the apple of your eye, and you his hero. It makes me feel so good when I hear that children grow up to love nature. A sharply focused and beautiful displayed image, and although far away from Christmas I would love to receive a card with one of these scenes on the front page. Thanks for sharing.
