Hello,
This tiny little flower's Isopyrum thalictroides (Hungarian name: "pigeon flower", no common English name), a typical geophytone plant of submontan and montan beech forest (for more info about beech forest types please read the note of this photo. "Geophytone" = those perennial flowers which are blooming before leafing). Also known as a herbal plant containing alcaloids. Living in the continental Europe and Asia, common (at least here in the Bükk mountains). Blooming from early March to mid April.
This piece was photographed a few kilometers from the ranch of Újmassa, in the Bükk National Park, on ca. 500 meters above sea level. I hope You'll like it. |
