End of fall

Maybe the last sun rays going down on the leaves covered landscape, as winter seems to be here very soon. The first bits of snow already arrived (see later).

This rock and its environment caught my eyes in this nice lighting during a nice Sunday walk in the Mecsek with my girlfriend and another couple, our very good friends. I slowed the whole thing down with stopping and shooting all the time as always, I hope it was worth :)

I tried to keep down exposure to keep contrast in the rock surface. Maybe not the best choice but I preferred it to show the lighting.

Hi Andor!

It's a pleasure to see a new picture of you. It's a beautiful one, very seasonal. I like the simplicity of the composition and of the subject very much. Just a stone and some autumnla leaves. The lighting and the soft colour tones create a particular effect and I believe that your exposure settings are fine: they allowed the focus only on the stone and let the rest of the picture step back in the background... well done!
