Hidden Sun

Not too much to say about the picture, I simply took a not OE shot of the illuminated sky, but the sun was hidden. Everything you can read below the picture, but ToD that's 17:10 and that I forgot to switch back from ISO800 :(

Hello Andor,
Yes, the exposure controlled is excellent here with beautiful colour on the clouds formation!
great job well done
cheers
Tony

Bellissimo gioco di luci e ombre, quasi B&W, molto belle le sfumature e i colori del cielo. Grazie e complimenti. Ciao Maurizio

Hello Andor,

You placed a difficult photo off the sky.
The dark and grey clouds with the sun came trough the clouds formation.
And just there a little overexposed.
I think the photo in raw and a little underexposion, so you can the photo in ps make a little good.

Moment good chosen!
Good contrast!

Regards Gert

Hi Andor,
You've captured a very nice moment.I love the light beyond the clouds, so to speak!
Very well done!
Cheers!

Hi Andor!

I like this dramatic sky very much! Your picture has a very pleasant and captivating mystic aspect. I also like the diagonal line of the light and the two dark parts on each side of it.

In a way, the visible grain due to the ISO settings suit the picture's subject quite well although I personally don't use high ISO settings (100 is standard).

Kind regards

Markus

Hi Andor,
I still don´t know about those technical tips you mention... I have a better background on art, jeje.
What really captured my atention was this sort of symmetry that appears in the pic: grey and dark clouds at the corners, bright and light in the middle, with the sun something we can call "center". This also gives a sensation of depth. Good POV and DOF.
good work!
have a nice day
tfs

Hi Andor,

Stunning cloud formation and I love the shafts of light coming through the gaps in the cloud. It would have been easy to underexpose, but you have done an amazing job to expose this perfectly.

Mike

wonderful composition.beautiful light and colors!great capture!

Szia Andor!

A téma remek - a látszólagos témanélküliség ellenére is - a megvalósítás nemkülönben. Őszinte grat, baráti üdv, Laci

Ui: látod, én ilyen hibát biztos, hogy nem követtem volna el. Ugyanis a HP R817-esem csak 400 ISO-ig életképes. :)
