Surprise

I've got a lot of work these days so it's just a quick visit, just as quick as a walk I could afford today. But fortunately while I was shooting these flowers a bee came as a surprise. I rapidly switched to my 60-300 lens and took a few shots. It was really a nice surprise for me as I could take time out as short as 10 minutes. But for this and the scent of flowers I haven't felt for long I think it was really worth.

Maybe the bee was surprise for you too as it can't be well seen on the thumbnail.

Technically it's not the best, it's hard with the manual lens to get focus on a subject like this. But the atmosphere of spring is represented I hope so.
A little flash with a reflector card was needed but I think except the wing it didn't do too much harm.

Best regards,
Andor

Hi Andor!

So I wish you good success in your work! May it be as successfull as your pictures and your contributions on TN are...

I like this picture very much, although I regret a little bit the too large empty space on the left. On the other hand, the subject is fine and the colour and lighting management are well done.

Kind regards

Markus

N.B. It's not always possible to write long comments. Don't worry for that! It's the same for most of us, I also work at 100%...

Hi Andor,
what a sorprise! you´re right about the bee! haven´t see it! BG and colours are great (that yellow is amazing! is too bright! lovely).-
I agree with Heaven about the empty space over the left.. and I add a little specific thing: maybe the yellow blur before the flower distracts the eye. Anyway, the picture is great. You have done a good work with light and a great macro with the bee.
TFS!
have a nice day
Brenda
