Morning at Balaton

Nice and quiet morning at lake Balaton, at maybe the most tranquil place around the lake.
The closest line of hills on the horizon from left to right are Szent György, Szigliget and left side of Badacsony.

This small peninsula Csicsergő (where I was standing) and the big amount of reed around it gives home to many birds and other animals.

It's always good to be up before everyone else to see a place without any people. The first one arriving after me was a 10 year old boy preparing his stuff for fishing.

I'm going back to the place this weekend (we have a small house by the shore), I hope I can catch some of those nice birds with the telephoto lens I haven't had back than...

Underexposing was intended to keep the sky and its reflection in their original color tones. Some contrast added, resized and sharpened.

Hi Andor!

You are lucky to have a house at this wonderful place. The atmosphere you have created is very romantic and peaceful. I like this indirect light very much. The picture is simple, as our nature often is, yet very pleasant and invites for contemplation and meditation. You have very well managed the lighting and the colours.

This is lovely Andor. The silhouetted grasses frame our vista to the far side of the lake and the morning colors. I especially like the ripple pattern in the water.

Hello Andor,
This is a wonderful sunrise capture from a nice point of view. I love the colours, the gentle ripples on the water and the reeds in the foreground. Well done!
