Oops...
I haven't realized when taking the shot that something's falling among between the reed: may it only be mud from his feet but I bet it's something else...
The circumstances were all set, as after 20mins of shooting at mallards on the shore, hid behind a tree, a couple taking there dog for a walk passed by, making the mallards fly into the lake (they were trying to pass carefully but the ducks got scared anyway). If no mud then let it be the sign of shock.
I hope I hurt none of you with posting this, I think it's 'natural' enough to post and looks more funny than awful. And I think it's a good shot of the duck but please decide that yourself and let me know!
Used monopod, some crop+contrast in Lightroom and resizing+sharpening in Gimp.
Have a nice day,

Hi Andor!
This is living nature. I like this spontaneous shot very much. It's simple, but the fact that the reeds act as a curtain add to the value of the picture. I also like your interesting and humerous notes.
Kind regards
Markus

Sorry Andor,
I've been away for sometime, but before that you had absolutely done the vanishing act to perfection!
Love this shot, and your sense of humour!
Very well done!
Thanks for your kind tips in my shot.
Cheers!
Goldy
