[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Calvatia excipuliformis is quite a common fungus specie in Europe (and probably in other continents, too) in September. Edible when young and its flesh is white - and this is true to almost the whole Lycoperdaceae family.

Again thanx to my great Friend Marco Della Maggiora for the correct ID. Marco, I dedicate this image to You.

Hello Laszlo,
you present the fine surface structures of this fungus in an excellent way. Exact focus an suitable light bring up just the details. Besides taking pictures of insects, I also like photographing fungi. However, I rarely post them to TN.
Best wishes, Peter

Great capture of this interesting puffball Laszlo.
Good exposure and clear details.
Nice environmental shot again.
Cheers
Steve

Yes Laszlo, it is a very common specie but often confused with other lycoperdones.
Again very pleased to see the excellent use you make of your equipment, it is obviously important but you demostrate that the photo is in the eye of the photograper, and you have a good eye for this captures.
BTW I cant avoid showing you this same specie I posted some time ago HERE.
Best regards, Felipe.

Hello Laszlo,
You have an amazing variety of mushroom in your gallery!
This is a lovely image, showing the details of this specimen so well...
A pleasant composition, enhanced by the autumn palette in the background!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hello Laszlo.

Excellent image, very good details and composition.

Regards.
Jose Luis.

Hi Laszlo. This looks like a perfect shot. ...Only I think the background isn't as flattering to it because of the mushrooms bright colour. I just wonder if another POV for a different background was possible. Still a pristine shot. Well done! TFS Trevor
