Surprising colors

Some days ago there was a very bad weather with dark sky all day but finally, just when the sun began to go down the bottom of the sky started to clear up, and the colors came very surprising, not like a normal sunset, this rare situation made them special, or at least for me.

Watched it all the way to my grandma's (went to celebrate Easter with her), then from her backyard I had the chance to take some shots, using the last some minutes available before the colors were gone. There's some little hills behind the village she lives in, this one can be well seen from there. It is untouched, I doubt there are even any hiking routes there. The location is Pécs-Vasas, a village belonging to my home town Pécs, located 15km from it.
Hope you like it!

Best regards,
Andor

Hi Andor,
Outstanding shot and fantastic illumination on the sky with stunning colours and details. The silhouetted trees makes the image look majestic. Excellent DOF and a fine POV to portray this marvellous scene and the composition is superb. Kudos.

Heya Andor,

I love these kinds of sunsets, becuase they are special. I happened to see a similar one a couple of days ago aswell, but it was snowing at the same time and I didn't have my camera with me.

This photo has some remarkable colours. You left a good chunk of the trees, while also allowing the sky to take its space. It is a very special sunset, almost surreal.

TFS

Johannes

Hello Andor,
It looks like the trees are a blaze, the color is so vivid and the trees are only silhouettes. Great work Andor, thank you for sharing.
