Schizophyllum commune
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hi,
One of the most frequent fungus specie from me today: Schizophyllum commune. Growing on dead wood, very common all over the world except for Antarctica. I found it on the hill named Dédes Tower.
Tech: serious cropping to get rid of unfocused parts (I simply wasn't careful enough when doing the shot), and the usual: noise reduction, gaussian blur on the background (with more than 2 pixels radius. I had to use such a big dose most probably due to the enlargement of the pic), framing, signing, re-sizing. I hope You like it this way. |

Hello Lásló
You did really a magnificent shot capturing with all clarity the most interesting details of these little fungi. I like a lot the composition with the vertical blurred bg.
Fantastic job!!
Congratulations and thank you very much for sharing.
Best regards
Maite
Hello Laszlo,
Effective point of view and the macro details are well shown!
Fine light renders good colours, DoF spot on isolates the subject well...
A fine composition!

Hi Lazslo,
Wow this looks so interesting ....i think i have seen these and they must have been quite a difficult group to get the right exposure...i like the very low PoV and DoF and also the way the muted green Bg helps one focus on the subject.Very nicely composed.
TFS & Cheers
Hi Laszlo,
I like this interesting composition of this photograph, unussual look at mushrooms- they've taken just small part of overall composition which makes nice contrast with blurry, green BG. Well done
cheers
Adrian
Oooh ... I missed this one too!
A good shot of these Schizophyllum.
Plenty of detail in the gills.
The ttop looks a little soft but I think thats just the nature of this fungi.
Your crop looks good.
I'm always tempted to do the opposite and make a panorama kind shot of these long fungi.
This works well though.
Cheers
Steve

Hello László
A very good capture of these fungi.
I like the composition with the diagonal look.
Very good pov and dof.
The OOF BG is great.
