[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello,

My today upload is a Russula, most probably Russula heterophylla or something else very similar from the 'heterophyllidae' section of Russula genus. I also upload a documentation photo as workshop.

I post-processed really lot to get rid of the disturbing purple tone of the original photo (which was most probably caused by f/2.8 - my mistake). Honestly speaking I don't remember every step, but I've done it for at least an hour, with both Photoshop and Photoimpact. Although this seems like a simple image, I worked on it so much today morning... If something seems simple, it's not quite sure it really is simple...

Thanx for stopping by. I return to write comments within a few hours. Respectfully Yours, László

Excellent composition, László. Worth all day post-processing, you are a hard worker. Wonder to see the original.... so I could compare and learn from it. TFS!

Hi Laszlo,
Nice natural composition, fine, low POV and good sharpness.
I will post a workshop- I tried to fix colours, hope You will like it.
cheers
Adrian

Laszlo,
Thanks for your kind comments on my posting re: "Honey Mushroom".
There used to be a great huge Manitoba Maple growing in that spot where I found these mushrooms. I did a lot of research before I named it thus.
I am still not convinced that it is a Tricholomopsis-rutilaus.

This is an excellent composition with great clarity. Great notes too.
TFS.
Mario with friendly greetings from Calgary.

Lovely clear image Laszlo.
It sounds like you put a lot of effort into this.
Photos shot here in NZ often have a bluish tint because of our low ozone and high UV levels.
I often have to turn the blue down a bit in my shots.
This looks great now though.
Well done.
Cheers
Steve

Dear Laszlo,
Nice composition and beautiful colours.
sharpness is nice too.
Very well captured.
Kind regards
Saeed

Hello Laszlo. Another well exposed and yet good detail of the texture of this fungi. I like the light cathing on top with pleasant composition. Thanks for sharing and best regards. Jusni

Another excellent and interesting picture. How many fungi species you are able find! Surely you have to tread a lot. I find very appropriate the POV and the vertical composition making it really beautiful. I congratulate you, for there is no trace of any purple nor anything disturbing at all. It's simply fantastic.
My compliments and best regards
Maite
