[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi,
Something rarely seen from me today: a female common blackbird (Turdus merula). This is my first (by my opinion useful) bird shot where my model isn't a swimming / walking duck or swan. So I'm very curious what You say, because I'm not experienced in bird photography at all, and I'd like to know, with this image, "what's hot and what's not". Thank You very much for honestly telling it.

Hello Laszlo, lovely shot of this beautiful black bird with good details and composition.
TFS and G's,
Mehmet

Hi Laszlo,
A nice capture of this beautiful female black bird. Sharp details and a lovely composition. Thanks a lot for sharing.

A good and finely detailed macro shot of a beautifully formed female Blackbird Laszlo, the BG is a little cluttered but that is normal for a capture on the ground. A tele-macro study of the same would render the BG more fuzzy.
Cheers,
Mehmet

Looks pretty good to me Laszlo.
Nice and sharp, almost stands out like a 3D image.
Good colour and exposure.
Nice!
Cheers
Steve

Hi Laszlo!

Nice try in my oppinion. Blacbirds are very good subjects to photograph - curious and not very shy. Female in typical pose and environment, with nice details and good light. You were lucku to catch all bird visible, they're often hidden in grass. I hope you'll send birds' photos from time to time in future.

Hello Laszlo,
very beautiful picture of female Blackbird, good sharpness and lighting, splendid natural colours, i like the typical pose in a natural environment.

Hi Laszlo,
it does not indicate the first timer here. Whatever sibject you get, if the skills are fine...then the product will be very good. Like this bird, the clarity is excellent...look at the eyes very sharp and shiny.
The composition is lovely, no spaces is wasted.
The colour contrast works effectively and most of all the moment captured is well times with the pose and lighting.
Well calculated and well presented.

regards,
Foozi

Excellent image Laszio,
Very fine detail with gorgeous natural colors. Great exposure and composed nicely!! Well done and TFS.
When I first viewed this bird I thought of how the physical shape of it looks very much like our American Robin. The colors are nothing alike, but the bird is structured remarkably similar.
