Not me, László :-) To be honest, these fungi are my last hope during late autumn/winter time. When snow is everywhere and every creature is dead or hidden deeply, bracket fungi are one and only live subject to photograph :-) So I must say - I like them is some weird way :-) And of course your photo proves that this kind of fungi are very photogenic. Only good photographer is needed. I like POV and composition, DOF is also excellent with all fungi sharp and clear. Good idea for post and very nice picture.

Hi László,
Impressive shot of the fungi with tree as their substrate!
The Fungi look just awesome with forest in BG. The colors of the fungi gives great contrast to the substrate-tree's light-colored covering. A perfect capture overall.
thanks and regards,

Hello László,
You are a skilled fungi photographer but here you didn't have to stretch your skills to the limit because this is an attractive species of Bracket Fungus superbly shown in fine sunlight on this wild cherry branch.
The composition with the OOF forest Bg completes this very well.
You make a good point about making anything photogenic but an interest in the subject is essential!
Thanks and have a good week,
Ivan

Indeed, very photogenic fungi. They are here in very beautiful light. And you made an excellent photo out of it from a good POV and against a beautiful dark BG. Great sharpness and composition.

Szia Laci!
Andor

Hi Laszlo My Friend,
I also totally disagree with the statement mentioned. To me, everything is beautiful and photogenic. It is only the technical skills and knowledge that constraint us.
this presentation is indeed very beautiful, and i really like almost all nature shot. i appreciate the creations in its bountiful of uniqueness and beauty.
you have composed it very well with the graphical effect of the branch, the blurry surroundings, and the well balanced and exploited light.
Great shot in an exciting view. thanks too for the names and defintion you have been furnuishing to me. I really appreciate it. All these make me aware and understand more each and everyday. Thanks MF.

Hi Laszlo friend!
This picture is extremely natural, that good depth have achieved. The relevance of the close-up, with fungi and the trunk; is luxuriant. It seems that one appreciates the live scene. Very good capitalization of the environmental light, good distribution and a flawless approach.
Congratulatios & thanks by the note!

Hi Laszlo
Well I think the other critiques answer your concern, any fungi is photogenic. Perhaps they are not the most beautifully coloured fungi, but as you have demonstrated here, they can create a fine composition. In your usual fashion, you have shown us a fungi and provided a view of the forest they live in. The two elements are in complete harmony with each other and fact that the fungi are glowing in the sun simply adds to the aesthetics of the scene. Well done my friend.

Hello László,
A very attractive photo of these interesting fungi. Nice colors and well-composed. I agree, pretty much any nature subject can make an interesting photo if the photographer knows how to present the subject.
Thanks,
John

Hello Laszlo.
Thank you for that impressive photograph from the polypore. I like the point of view and the composition of the picture with the oblique ascending branch, in the natural position from the left to the right. Lovely colors and interesting contrast with the opposition between the stem and the fungus well lighted and the background in a semi-darkness. The sharpness is good and we have a good perception of many details.
Hope to see you soon on treknature for other photograph.
All the best.
Philippe.
