This photo is taken on a low definition digital camera, so i've tried to clean it up a bit in photoshop.
This is the nest of the Common Snipe (Gallinago gallinago), easily found because the snipe tends to trust it's camouflage, but chickens out if you walk near it. So suddenly it flies out from your feet. |

Wellcome to TN, Johann!
Interesting first post. I understand your technical problem here (the camera, that it is), but I appreciate something else: the fact that you didn't disturb that nest (like cleaning that somehow bothering FG grass for a photo) only to get a better shot. We have to leave the nature to take its course, even if that means not perfect shots sometimes.
