We passed these lovely cliffs when driving around on Iceland in our rented LandCruiser. Some places on Iceland reminded me on the first colored images from Mars. The sunset creates these redlike colors and the shadows in the picture.

I have a feeling that this is the same mountain as in my Middle of nowhere photo, which makes it a photo from Ţjórsárdalur, not Reykjavík. That said, let's take a look at the photo as such. First, let me make that absolutely crystal clear, yours is better than mine. You've got a much more interesting point of view and time of day. The composition is superb, and the colours and the shadows make good contrast. It's simply a great shot, Joar!

This is a fine minimalistic composition!
I like the panoramic format, and the harsh landscape is captured with fine colours and details...
The angle of light adds life to the scenery!
