Taken from road 32 twoards Hekla in the background (someone correct me if Im wrong). This was a viewpoint along the road we stopped at. I just had to go up there, but with -12C and 15-20 m/sec wind it was really cold. My fingers got numme holding the camera, but it was a wonderful view, thats for sure!

Hi Joar,
The view is spectacular and the mountian in the back looks really impressive. But with no FG interest, the photo looks a little 'flat' Next time try to use someting in the FG to create more depth and also think about some leadlines. You will then have to use a much smaller aperture.

Niek

Hi Joar!
I agree with Niek up to a certain extent, but I still think the frozen stream plays the role of foreground quite successfully. I love the glowing evening colours, and also the sufficient amount of sky in the composition. Great shot, Joar, thanks for sharing!
