Iceland is amazing.. This is a country where you will continuously be surprised by the scenery..! If you drive trough the country, you will see every 15 minutes a changing scenery. Spectacular scenery.. We wanted to see puffins, and i couldn’t wait.. we drove from Grundarsfjordur to Latrabjarg, a 6 hours drive, but it was more than worth it! We have seen Puffins in 3 places on Iceland, but this is where you get the closest! Only 50 cm distance is not unusual! I loved it, and not only for the puffins, but for the other birds like razorbills aswel! Puffins are rather small, they are only 18 cm tall, but so full of faith in people and thats why you can get so close, wonderful..Used PS CSII for PP

Very nice composed shot of this puffin,I like the pink OOF flower in the FG as well,well done and TFS,

Excellent photo! I love your composition with the flowers in the foreground and the atypical pose of the puffin. If I had to make a critical comment, which is a stretch since the the photo is so nearly perfect, I'd like to see slightly more depth of field to keep the tail of the puffin in focus, but that is so unimportant that it is hardly worth mentioning. Great work, and your comments make me want to go Iceland.

Hi Olger,
Lovely shot of this Puffin, good detail, excellent exposure and interesting POV. We have a lot of them in the UK too, 70,000 pairs on the Farne Islands alone. I agree with your note, it's nice that they have no fear of humans, amazing to just sit and watch. Great shot.

What a cute puffin. It is such a lovely composition with this colorful bird standing on the grass amid the flowers. He looks very interested in whatever he is looking at. Great expression.
Iceland sure sounds like a great place to visit.

As you say, take pictures to puffins is very, very, very dificult, so I'm very happy to see this of you.
Congratulations, because is no only the dificult to take the picture, also the image is very well done, the color, the scenary, the pow, really, thank you very much for your present.
