What a fine photo with this bird in flight. The bird is shown very sharp despite its obvious mouvement. Lighting solution is very well chosen.

I admire and concur with your research so as to get this great capture.
Very good sharpness and just enough movement in the wings to show the speed of this Puffin..Good use of the flash also...You must have been hanging over a cliff with a 200mm lense!!..Great capture.

Extraordinary image. Can't imagine spending a few days to get the one shot you want. I'm not that patient!
My only comment is that your puffin is rather crowded by a very tight crop. I think it needs more space. In my camera club the advice is that bird pics look best when the bird has more space to "fly into" and less space where it is coming from. I agree with this - it gives more of a forward motion to the bird rather than it being a static image.
