En Islande, le Courlis corlieu est entièrement migrateur.
Fin avril, il y prépare son nid, qui recevra 4 oeufs.
Cet oiseau est l'emblème des friches et des marais.
Fin juillet, ils se regroupent pour repartir déjà vers l'Afrique occidentale.
Il se nourrit de gastéropodes marins mais aussi de baies comme : les myrtilles.

Very good picture of this bird. Excellent POV, DOF and focus. Great light on the bird which allows a very good contrast . Very good naturell background.

Hi Laurent. This bird blend in to the BG so well. With its natural colours. Which you have taken so well. along with good detail . I like the low POV so we can see the bird with its very long bill. Well done TFS.

Beautiful photo in good sharpness and details. Nice contrasts against the BG, almost completely camouflaged. Excellent low POV and composition.
