La grive mauvis ressemble à la grive musicienne, tant par sa taille que par son coloris. Autant dire qu'elle a un dessus brun et un dessous blanc nuancé de chamois à la poitrine et largement tacheté de sombre. Elle s'en distingue toutefois par un très apparent sourcil clair.
Elle consomme des insectes, des vers de terre et des fruits.

une excellente photo du grive mauvis, comme je te l'es écris
la dernière fois tu post des photos d'oiseaux que j'ai lu
et vu dans des livres (français), j'aime beaucoup ta photo
de cette grive perché sur l'arbre, excelent POV,
excellent focus de l'avant-plan avec netteté et détails,
je ne pensais pas que on trouve des grives aussi nord que l'Island,
