There is a enormous amount of arctic sterns in Iceland, and what i find amazing, is that the fly more than 18.000 miles or 25.000 kilometres to breed.. During the winter they fly al the way to Antarctica! So scientist think that these birds are migrating the longest distance in the world. As soon you approach them in the breeding time, they will sort of attack you.. They appear more aggressive then they really are.. They will scream a lot, low pass you, but never hit in any case.. I like these birds, they have a nice way of fishing, and also the appearance with the V tail is to my opinion lovely..

This is a very good catch of this bird! It is impressive that you handhold your camera, this picture is so sharp. I like the title too :) Great attitude from the bird, nice POV and lightning, well done!
