Hi Stephen, beautiful colours from the flowers, and I like how they seem to have all our attention with the softened BG. Stunning view too, especially the flowers and clouds,

Hello Stephen,
Your notes made me smile. It is not always that easy for people who don't do photo to be as patient as we can be obsessive photographers that we sometimes are:) This is a nice scenery, very well composed with great colors, beautiful elements and DOF. Those flowers in FG are lovely and so are those tones of colors. Lens flare could be tricky indeed but I think that you managed very well. Thanks,
Claudine

Hi Stephen,
It looks as though it was hard to balance the bright sunlight on the flowers and foreground cliffs with the darker cliffs and clouds in the background.
The overall shot is very effective though.
Well composed and quite moody.
Cheers, Steve

Hello Stephen,
I can hear Irish music when I see this!! A really wonderful and dramatic coastal landscape shot with a great depth of focus and sharp details. I love the colours and the Thrift in the foreground.
Many thanks, Ulla

Bonjour Stephen
Superbe.
Salutations

Ah, one of the perks of marriage... someone to blame stuff on! : )
I can see what attracted you to this scene. It's wonderful. I think this may have been a scene for a merging of various exposures. It's the foreground flowers that I would really like to see sharper and more evenly exposed. The composition is fabulous.

Hi Stephen,
As always I'm in awe over the view. I'm amazed by the depth of this photo , I almost feel like I could step right in and take a walk. Beautiful view , I do so like the bright flowers in the foreground accenting the rocky cliffs. Beautiful photo. TFS

Hi Steve,
There might be a good lesson in your note: Photography and company don't mix. :) I have to agree with you, the exposure isn't perfect. Do you think a ND filter or a CP filter would heave helped?
I kept on wondering about the sudden drop of sharpness when you go more into the photo. I think it has to do with the fact that the rocks behind the flowers are further away than expected. Anyway, it is another wonderful view that makes me want to visit Northern Ireland again.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Stephen,
Lovely shot, well worth risking the wrath of your wife! I hope she liked the result!
I really like your mastery of the wide angle lens and grad filters, you've got the technique and composition down to a tee.
Great work. Doug
