Mount Errigal is the highest point of the County Donegal and stands 751 metres tall. This mountain is cone shaped and ends in a peak.

I thought for today I would rework this image using the channel mixer in PS.

Hi Steve,
This is beautiful, an excellent shot. Perfect detail, excellent composition, the POV/camera height has given just the right angle across the water. Great exposure and that sky, wow. Excellent channel mixer work. Great stuff, really.
Have a good weekend.
Cheers,
Adrian

Hello Stephen,

Remarkable picture Mount Errigal! Excellent exposition! the pov, the nice gradation of grey, the quality of sharpness cannot be better! And those clouds bring an element of power that we can feel through your excellent picture! Great shot and TFS,

Michel

Hello Stephen,
Superb shot! This is very spectacular. Looking at the photo I have strange feeling that the picture is overhelming me, but that's great. When picture gives such emotions it must be special. I also love the amazing depth here and the B&W colours. I haven't seen the colour version but it can't be better than this.
Great work!

Very beautiful shot! I love the way you've taken advantage of the light and shadows. The large sky with clouds overhead creates a nice dramatic effect. TFS ~ Stacy

Hi Stephen,

Well done on the capture and composition. Beautiful scene.

As for the B/W, you did well, a little more tweeking, this image will be a winner in B/W. Just play a little more with levels or curves. These two should not be overlooked in processing, especially in this medium of B/W. I don't know if you know about the Silver tones in B/W, let's just say, it has it and this would be a show piece my friend. It's my favorite kind of photography, I'm old school. ;) :)

I played with it in CS2, all I can say is WOW!!!

Mike

That is a great image Stephen. I too, like B & W. The textures here are so interesting and the DOF is superb. I do think it is missing any white value. There is black, and lots of grays, but no whites. It is a wonderful image though, and thanks for sharing it.

Hi Stephen

Wow... very dramatic. Love the clouds and especially the B&W.... awesome my friend! Thank you.... you are an inspiration!

Hi Stephen
Impressive b&w works,stunning details.
Welldone.

Stephen,

Superb choice of black and white. The Composition, POV and detail shown are great. What a lovely landscape shot you have produced here. TFS,
Sheriff

What a stunning picture with those clouds, the detail in the sky is amazing. I really like the composition, but think that it could be just a touch lighter.

Wonderful series BTW.

Hi Stephen,

Splendid B&W "à la Ansel Adams". Plenty of DOF rendering sharp details from FG herbs to the infiniy clouds. Excellent exposure showing plenty of highlight and shadow details (almost no deep black area and no burned white area). Once again excellent use of WA lens perspective that seems to give radial mouvement to the clouds. Excellent composition.

Remarquable B&W landscape, TSF

Alain

As we expect from you Stephen....another masterpiece.
B&W works really well here to give a nice moody image. Did you add some noise to the image in PP?

Good POV and composition.

Thanks for posting, have a great weekend.

Hi Stephen, powerful portrait with excellent perspective and atmosphere. Very well done and TFS.
Dean.

Super one, really stunning in b&w.

wow, amazing shot, stephen! :-)
did you add clouds? *g*
the dramatic sky is awesome and looks really great in b&w -
it shows that landscapes do not always have to be in rich colors.
mount errigal is the mountain to the left (?) - reminded me
of mount doom of Lord of the Rings - i was expecting fire
coming out of it. *g*
perfect job & best wishes, thor.
