At least I think it is. I am not very good with warblers so if I am wrong please correct me.
The Sedge Warbler (Acrocephalus schoenobaenus) is an Old World warbler in the genus Acrocephalus. It breeds across Europe and western and central Asia. It is migratory, wintering in sub-Saharan Africa.

This small passerine bird is a species found in reed beds with bushes. 3-5 eggs are laid in a nest in reeds or a bush. Pairs are usually monogamous, but not strictly so (Leisler & Wink 2000).

This is a medium-sized warbler, 11.5-13cm long. The adult has a heavily streaked brown back and pale underparts. The forehead is flattened, there is a prominent whitish supercilium, and the bill is strong and pointed. The sexes are identical, as with most warblers, but young birds are streaked on the breast below. Like most warblers, it is insectivorous, but will take other small food items including berries.

The song is a fast, chattering jirra-jirra-jirra punctuated with typically acrocephaline whistles and mimicry.

Sedge warbler is correct.
Blue sky is nice, compo is lovely but the bird itself looks a bit dark.

Very nice picture of this little singer which we know here in Denmark mostly as a migration bird though we have a few breeding birds too (some 2.000-3.000 pair). What I really like on this picture is that you also managed to fill in some of the natural surroundings - very good. The bird has a nice sharpness for a long shot. The colours look great and very natural. A very different composition but it works great here - well seen.

I read in your intro that you also decided to turn off the points - well done, I like that. I am of just the same opinion about the two-pointers. I have turned off the points too and I even ask people not to give me points in each post - but do they read it or care?

Hi Catalin,
I really like this image. The composition is lovely because of capturing the Warbler on the reed seed heads (I'm guessing). The bird looks fabulous against the blue of the sky. An all round excellent image.
