| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the Burren at close range, in particular the Burren's ground - great geological phenomenon.
The Burren is situated in north-west County Clare.
The name comes from the Gaelic "Bhoireann" - it means "a rocky place" and as you can see,
this is a really rocky place.
The Burren is a gently sloping carboniferous limestone landscape which has suffered intense glaciation,
the last occurred as recently as about 10,000 years ago.
Burren is not a mountain, but there is no other appropriate category (like rocks or geological phonomenon). |

Bonjour,
C'est surtout l'aspect graphique des pierres que je trouve intéressant.
