Little Egret in flight.

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This was an aggressive Little Egret. Feeding in an estuary on a ebbing tide, it chased off another bird that was feeding on an tiny weed covered island. I think the head back position is so it is ready to strike. This photograph was taken at some distance and cropped hard.
Camera settings:- ISO 100, AV, Spot metering, Manual White bal, Auto exposure, 1120mm focal length, 1.4 x converter, Tripod. |

Hi Peter, great moment to capture, wingspan is wonderful. Excellent pov and I like the composition with the Egret flying in from the right. Light, shadow and colours perfect with good exposure. The Egret may be aggressive but it is also quite beautiful.
