A beautiful arboretum on Fota Island.

One of my favourites is the Giant Magnolia tree with magnificent flowers like this one. The giant is one of the tallest in that gardens, and is well visible from the main road. Blooming in winter adds colour to the mostly grey Irish winter sky. This one is actually of the much smaller child like tree near the giant one. |
