| The chough, not very widespread throughout Europe, but locally it can be quite common. It occurs in a wide variety of altitudes: from great hights to sea level. I took this picture at the Old Head of Kinsale in Ireland, near Cork. On this cliff a group of aprox. 30 birds was constantly soaring round the old ruin, possibly looking for small insects in the vegetation. |
