Imagine a place where all you can hear is voice of nature like a singing bird or silent noice of a stream... Imagine a place where all around you there are beautiful mountains, and among them some blue lakes... Imagine a place where even during stormy weather you can feel that you are in very peacefull area... Imagine the place named Killarney National Park... :>

There are not too many national parks in Irland, and among them Killarney National Park is the oldest one - it came into being in 1932. Presently it covers over 25,000 acres of mountain, moorland, woodland, waterways, parks and gardens.

The most famous part of the park are lakes, with three main: the Upper Lake, Muckross Lake (Middle Lake) and Lough Leane (Lower Lake).

This picture shows a panorama for the park from the place named Ladies View. I believe that you can see one of the lakes in the background :>
But why the name of this place is "Ladies view"? Well, the story says that queen Victorias ladies-in-waiting visited here during the royal visit in 1861. They were so enraptured with the view that it was named after them :>

I know that this is only a picture, so you can not feel "everything" like I and queen's ladies could in real, but I still hope that you will like it :>

Hello Radomir,
A beautiful view of the lakes, bogs and mountains of SW Ireland, reminding me of my visit there a long time ago, though it was amonth later when the special Irish giant Butterwort was in flower. I remember mountains caled Mac Gilliecuddies Reeks (or something like that!).
This is a fine composition with a dramatic landscape and clouds in great lighting.
Thanks for sharing this attractive view not only for the ladies!
Best wishes, Ivan

Hello Radomir,
Lovely strong black clouds on the top adds to the beauty of the shot. Great shot. Big mountains on the BG adds lively to the scene. Great work/ Ganesh

Witaj,
Ciekawy opis miejsca chociaz faktycznie foto tego nie oddaje. Mysl, ze powietrze bylo z mgielka i barwy zbyt pastelowe.

Hi Radomir,
Wonderful shot of this beautiful place and a fabulous view you present here. Very neat and sharp image with the ominous cloud hanging over the valley making this image marvellous. Lots of details and colour tones and I like your chosen POV to portray it. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

Hello Radomir
What a beautiful landscape!! I can almost imagine being there, so peaceful and quiet! How much I would like to enjoy it in the place, specially having read your note. I like a lot the sight of the river and lake, the feeling of the great distance and the shadows upon the hills.
Thank you very much for sharing.
Best regards
Maite

Cześć Radku
Bardzo fajne zdjęcie z nastrojem tajemniczości. Zupełnie inne kolory niż te, które ja miałam okazję oglądać w czasie pobytu w Irlandii - dużo mniej zieleni.
Podoba mi się
Pozdrawiam
Ania

Hi Radomir.
You have represented us a very cute part of park. I welcome your impressive POV and nice framing, excellent selection of a DOF and fine details. However, I think the contrast and exposure level should improve a little bit. I have played with image on my PC and think I have sense. My compliments and thanks for nice story.
Alexei.
