[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have just had a fortnights holiday in south-west Ireland touring the beauty spots and happened to take my camera! At the Old Head of Kinsale I saw these gulls hovering in the up-draught of wind at the cliff top and managed to take this picture.

Hello Peter !
Nice capture ! I loe the pose of both birds, 'frozn' in the air with the wings wide open. Excellent details on the birds, beautiful composition, nice natural colors, and I really like the blurred cliffs in the BG, they must be high and very impressive. The little yellow flowers in the FG are beautiful. Very well done !
Valerie.

Hi Peter,
an area that's next on my list of places to explore, specifically around the Dingle Penninsula.
Very sharp capture you got here, i like the composition with the Gulls diagonally placed in the top right of the frame. Nice light too. Those webbed feet are great.

Hello Peter,
Beautiful capture of these two herring gulls hovering on the up-wind.
Wonderful surrounding with the mountain in the background and the cliff lower right hand side.
Great sharpness, exposure and composition with the diagonal line of the two birds.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards and have a great weekend,
Harry

Hi Peter, This is an unusual and interesting capture. The cropping is good to show a piece of the cliff edge on the lower right side. The birds seem to be a lot less elegant than when flying normally which shows how well they fly in normal circumstances. Good note. TFS. Murray.

Good shot! You have captured a great moment in action. Nice pov and composition.
