[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One early morning on my holiday, while trying to photograph feeding Little Egrets on an estuary I spotted this Curlew amongst the marsh grass. The feathering was quite striking. A long way off and only the 400mm lens I have had to crop the picture.
Camera settings:- ISO 100, AV, Spot metering, Manual white balance, 1.4 x converter, 560mm focal length, hand held.

This is a very beautiful picture ! You were so lucky to see this bird and you managed to get an excellent shot. There are some nice details in the plumage, and the colors as well as the composition and the POV are wonderful. Very well done !

Hello Peter,
Very nice photo, I really like the pose you captured this Curlew in, with the 1 leg up and head turned. The foreground grass really frames the subject well along with the blurred grass at the top of the photo for the BG.
