Yes, that's what it reminds me...just being stuck, unable to move...
I like the contrast between the rock, couple of thousands years old, maybe more, coming from ages long gone...and the moss, new every year, fresh with every splash of rain.
I made this image in (again) overcast light, so great for close up work. I used my wide angle lens, able to focus down to 24 cm, to include the surrounding of the rock. I tried 50mm macro lens, but the scene looked somehow squeezed, and lacked the "space" I could achieve with wide angle lens. Final image was cropped to square format for better composition.
Camera: Nikon D200
Lens: Tokina 12-24mm F4 set at 18mm
Aperture: F16
Shutter Speed: 1/8sec
ISO: 100
Other: tripod, cable release, mirror lock up. |
