A classical composition!
A good POV gives a feeling I'm in a boat here...
Lovely surf and a mood of fresh weather on this rugged shoreline...

Hello Niek
It seems like some of our TN friends have these incredible shoeboxes or archives from where they keep on pulling these lovely photos. Since I am still new to digital photography I need to work hard, in the present, for every upload and continuously run out of material to post. So, in a friendly way I am rather envious of you guys with those magic shoeboxes.
I like this seascape very much although, I do believe I have seen sharper photos from your lens (maybe it was caused by a bit of fogginess in the air). These seascapes always leave a feeling of 'I wish I was there' within me and your pleasing presentation is stirring that thought once again. The composition is good and it seems like you used a water level to set up for a perfect horizon. The colours and the exposure are fine. TFS.

This is a ncie composition, I like the way you've placed the cliff on the side and left space for the skies and sea. Frame is good as well
I am not sure about the contrast of the image, did you change it?

A beautiful seascape shot. I love the minimal composition, it looks really good here. It looks like a midday shot with that light. I think it is not soft, just atmospheric haze...

Ha - if only you had been there the day I was, bright blue sky, green pastures and fantastic highlights on the cliffs - ok - it was very hard to leave - I guess I'm just to busy (maybe you shoudl read lazy) to get the negatives out and scan them...

Still you brought back memories of a wonderful holiday..

Not too sure about the cliff face ending exactly in the middle of the picture and as already stated above, it isn't as clear as others you have posted. But the (true) horizon is fantastically straight and that for me is a real bonus, so many landscapes with water/sea get loaded on TN when the horizon is not straight.

Lovely shot, simple composition. The blue/grey sky is plain but work sell in this shot.

I grew up in north Kerry, so I had a view of Loop head almost every day. Thanks for the memories!

Good landscape picture Niek, it looks like the face of somebody. I maybe would keep more water and less sky but it still looks good. Thanks.

Hi Niek,
I lived in Ireland for a couple of years, this weather looks familiar :-) A nice simple composition which works well, and natural colours which really bring the atmosphere of the place into the shot. Nice work!

I really like this composition. The placement of the horizon and headland give it great interest. Just a pity that it's not a bit sharper, but still very nice to see.
